To continue driving this growth, we’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our expanding tech team. This role will be essential in supporting MDCalc’s success as we assist millions of clinicians worldwide in providing care to hundreds of millions of patients.

Responsibilities

• Act as a senior team member, contributing to and guiding the delivery of high-quality software products.
• Take ownership of your work and drive it through to completion.
• Collaborate with both technical and non-technical team members to ensure rapid software delivery.
• Contribute to architecture and design decisions, ensuring system scalability and performance.
• Champion software engineering best practices, including code reviews, testing, documentation, and maintaining code quality standards.
• Lead by example, demonstrating excellence, professionalism, and collaboration in all aspects of software development and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong proficiency in React, React Native, NextJS, Express, and Postgres, with experience building scalable, distributed systems and web applications.
• Experience with:
  • Consumer/Public Websites, Mobile Applications, Amazon AWS
  • Terraform, Go, Docker, and BitBucket
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams while also being hands-on in the details.
• In-depth understanding of software engineering principles and system architecture to provide technical guidance and refine product specs and tickets.
• Knowledge of the healthcare industry and experience in health tech is a plus.
