Position Overview
The Management Trainee Program at Expeditors is a comprehensive introduction to our products, services, and operations. This program is designed to equip high-potential individuals with the knowledge and experience needed to build a long-term career within the company — from operational to supervisory and even managerial roles. Participants will gain hands-on exposure across all departments, including operations, finance, sales, customer retention, and management. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, disciplined, flexible, and open to travel during the program.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will:

Participate in the Management Trainee Orientation
-
Learn and apply the Expeditors culture and business processes
-
Assist in day-to-day operations and support department supervisors
-
Understand and contribute to department-specific operational and financial reporting
-
Attend relevant meetings (departmental, sales, accounting, etc.)
-
Work on and deliver at least two meaningful projects during the program
-
Participate in product-specific sales or retention meetings (where applicable)
-
Proactively promote Expeditors’ Mission Statement and 10 Cultural Attributes
-
Demonstrate flexibility, initiative, and a willingness to adapt to various work environments

Required Qualifications & Attributes

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

One to two years of relevant experience (preferred)

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Excellent organizational and time management abilities

Comfortable working under pressure and independently

Strong computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Willingness to travel and/or relocate (if applicable)
