About the Role
The Regional Sales Manager (ARIS) will play a key role in expanding Software AG’s presence in the U.S. This position involves driving revenue growth, leading a seasoned sales team, and collaborating with key partners to deliver cutting-edge business process analysis and process intelligence solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software sales, proven leadership abilities, and a passion for achieving sales excellence. Reporting directly to the Vice President of the Americas Region, this role will collaborate closely with internal teams and strategic partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Senior Account Executives, Presales Consultants, and Partner Sales Managers.
- Develop and execute sales strategies for enterprise clients and prospects.
- Identify new business opportunities, including upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts.
- Build strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners such as AWS, Microsoft, and Deloitte.
- Align sales efforts with the product roadmap and customer needs through collaboration with marketing and customer success teams.
- Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and sales regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement within the sales team to optimize efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or related fields (advanced degree preferred).
- At least 15 years of experience in software sales, with expertise in process analysis and process intelligence markets.
- Proven track record of managing sales teams and achieving revenue growth.
- Strong technical knowledge of process mining, GRC, or related technologies.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with experience engaging C-level executives.
- Ability to adapt quickly and build relationships in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in international and matrixed organizations.
- Familiarity with global markets and industry trends.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $158,000 – $168,000 annually, plus eligibility for a 100% monthly commission plan.
