Job Description
This position will serve as a subject matter expert on Workday financials. They will be expected to support other functional users as a mentor and assist technical team members with system expertise as well.
Core Responsibilities:
• Provide ongoing support for Workday Financials, ensuring smooth operation and functionality across various Financial modules.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues by tracking support tickets and working with teams to provide timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, HR, and vendors to ensure system functionality is aligned with business needs.
• Manage system configuration and reporting, ensuring that the Workday Financials platform is continuously optimized.
• Assist with system testing, developing test strategies, creating test scripts, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure smooth testing execution.
• Recommend and implement supplemental solutions to improve financial processes and workflows using Workday.
• Support end users with reporting needs, resolving issues related to existing reports and assisting with nonstandard batch uploads.
• Assist with the design, configuration, and testing of both delivered and custom integrations.
• Continuously look for opportunities to improve the way Workday solutions are delivered and supported, aiming for better efficiency and effectiveness.
• Reporting, custom validations, business process changes, security analysis, EIB creation
• Requirements/Design, Testing – system, regression, UAT coordination
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant technical field (Information Technology, Computer Science, Software, Engineering or related technical discipline) or equivalent combination of training and work experience

8 to 12 years’ experience working in Finance ERP (including Workday Financials)

Experience in Workday implementation tools (Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer, and iLoad)

Experience in Web Services and APIs (WSDL, SOAP, REST and WS standards)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and leadership

Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle both planned and unplanned responsibilities

Ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks independently, providing timely follow up and resolution

Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
