Sustainability Leader, FST
Mission:
The job incumbent drives all parts of the project / contract management functions, from the pre-project definition and commercial phases to the final delivery of services. Act as discipline expert providing support to BV M&O SEAP Zone and exchanging with the network on their area of competence.
Functional Competencies:

Promote the Bureau Veritas brand as the industry leader in Gas & New energy for environmental compliance.

Ensure Bureau Veritas is involved in relevant JDPs and coordinate our contributions with other members.

Identify, develop, and bring together suitable industrial partners for JDP/JIP consortia.

Provide expert input to the Marketing & Sales team when negotiating projects involving alternative propulsion modes.

Monitor new building projects in South Asia & Pacific involving Gas & New energy and innovative environmental solutions.

Familiarize the Marketing & Sales teams and support the training of NC, BVN, and NS surveyors on Bureau Veritas’ solutions and references.

Represent Bureau Veritas at specialized conferences and in media through participation and technical papers on environmental issues and innovative propulsion solutions.

Maintain an active role in liaison with HO on regulatory bodies (IACS, ISO, national standards) for the development of Gas & New energy as fuel and bunkering solutions.

Ensure ongoing regulatory and market watch in the field of Gas & New energy.

Coordinate Gas & New energy-related actions within the South Asia & Pacific Zone and with HO and other relevant Zones.

Contribute to the drafting, editing, and preliminary review of guidance notes, rules, and special studies.

Organize customer seminars and deliver internal and/or public presentations as requested.

Raise the profile of Bureau Veritas through active engagement with all stakeholders, leveraging JDPs, JIPs, AiPs, pre-contract services, and value propositions to forge long-lasting partnerships.

Develop, organize, and participate in relevant activities such as workshops, seminars, webinars, events, publications, and social media, as well as frequent client interactions through calls or meetings.

Participation in other activities assigned by the supervisor.

Comply with the requirements of the HSE and Compliance management systems.
Requirements:
-
Degree in Engineering related to Marine / Offshore / Naval Architecture / Mechanical.

Minimum 10 years relevant working experience in marine and offshore consultancy work.

Possess experience with LNG Carriers, UTM campaign reports, Clean Fuels, New Energy within the Marine & Offshore sector.

Subject matter expert in LNG/Clean Fuels/New Energy with ability to deliver presentations in conferences and technical seminars.

Able to travel at short notice and accept short overseas assignments as required.
