We are a certified ISO 9001 software and web app development company seeking an all-rounder, passionate Business Analyst with business development experience to join our remote team. Candidates must be based in the CET timezone.

This full-time, indefinite position is ideal for someone who has strong IT competence and ideally a background in software and web development.

Your Role:
As a Business Analyst, you will bridge the gap between stakeholders and our development team, gathering business requirements and translating them into actionable development tasks to build the final product that delivers business value. In our small team, this role also extends into business development, including meeting clients to understand their needs.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Clarifying Business Ideas: Understanding customer requirements, visualizing and analyzing them, and proposing IT-driven improvements.
• Client Meetings & Requirement Gathering: Capturing business requirements, translating them into clear documents (user stories, specifications, wireframes, flowcharts, etc.).
• Strategic Analysis: Analyzing internal business strategies and identifying new growth channels, including filtering potential leads that align with internal priorities.
• Requirement Drafting & Proposals: Preparing functional and non-functional requirements, and collaborating with the team to present proposals and estimations to clients.
• Development Planning: Creating and prioritizing backlogs, splitting requirements into smaller tasks, and collaborating with the project manager to ensure successful development.
• Acceptance Criteria & Grooming: Defining success criteria for feature development and attending pre-development meetings to ensure alignment with approved requirements.
• Ongoing Communication & Documentation: Ensuring that the development team builds according to the specifications and maintaining up-to-date documentation.
• Client Feedback & Feature Tracking: Gathering feedback and tracking user suggestions for future improvements.

What We Need from You:

• A proactive problem solver with analytical thinking.
• Strong decision-making ability, assessing risks and benefits.
• Excellent research skills and a critical mindset.
• Expertise in documentation and visualization tools (e.g., draw.io, Figma, Miro, MS Visio, Lucidchart).
• Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• High accountability, ensuring tasks are completed with diligence and on time.
• Familiarity with project management tools (JIRA, Clickup, Asana) and documentation platforms (Confluence, Notion).
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects with attention to detail.

Bonus Points:

• Previous experience as a Business Analyst or Business Developer in the software development industry.
• Familiarity with analytical techniques like Interface Analysis, Feasibility Analysis, and SWOT.
