About the Role
Close was born from our roots as Elastic Sales, a sales-as-a-service company where we pioneered new ways to sell. Out of that need for better tools came Close — the first CRM with built-in calling, and one that’s since become a leader in the space.
We’re now growing our inbound sales team to meet rising demand. As an Account Executive, you’ll take ownership of high-intent inbound leads, working across channels (phone, chat, SMS, video, email) to qualify, consult, and close deals.
You’ll report to Liz Stephany, our Sr. Director of Sales & Customer Success, and work alongside a sharp team of fellow AEs.
Who You Are
You’re a driven seller who’s excited to help small businesses grow — and grow your own skills in the process.
- 1–2 years of full-cycle sales experience (Account Executive or BDR roles)
- SaaS experience preferred — bonus points for CRM, marketing, or coaching industry knowledge
- Comfortable selling across multiple channels (LinkedIn, chat, video, SMS, etc.)
- Tech-savvy and quick to pick up sales tools and software
- Curious and empathetic — you listen well, ask the right questions, and build trust
- Motivated, ambitious, and eager to level up with feedback and experimentation
- Excited by what AI can do for modern sales teams
- Based in the U.S. (ET, CT, MT, or PT time zones)
What You’ll Do
- Own the full sales cycle — from qualification to close
- Use a consultative sales approach to uncover prospect needs and provide tailored solutions
- Run multi-channel outreach (calls, email, chat, video, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Prioritize speed-to-lead, engaging live with prospects on our site
- Leverage our tech stack (including Close CRM!) to manage your pipeline and performance
- Experiment and iterate — including with AI-powered strategies
