Job Opportunity: Experienced Form.io Consultant (Remote Contract)

Orbital Installation Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Form.io consultant to take the lead on the completion of an almost-finished Form.io-based project. This is a remote contract position with the potential for growth into a Project Manager role within our internal IT team.

The project is well in progress, and we’re looking for someone with the expertise and confidence to dive in, assess the current state, and drive it to deployment.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Form.io in a production environment.
• Strong understanding of Form.io features such as forms, resources, roles/permissions, custom components, and API integrations.
• Proven experience managing complex workflows and achieving goals independently.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and communicating directly with stakeholders.
• Ability to assume a leadership role, both technically and organizationally.

Please note: Actual Form.io experience is a must. Applications without it will not be considered, and this will be one of the first questions asked in the interview.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of an active Form.io project and lead it through to final delivery.
• Manage forms, data structure, logic, and user access configurations.
• Oversee testing, issue resolution, and edge-case planning.
• Communicate progress and blockers effectively with internal stakeholders.
• Potential to transition into a Project Manager role within our tech team.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with backend development (Node.js, PHP, or similar).
• Experience integrating APIs and workflow logic.
• Familiarity with tools such as GitHub, Docker, and AWS.
• Understanding of Agile or Scrum methodologies.
