Job Description

The Courier Driver ensures timely, efficient, and safe transportation of packages, documents, or goods. Key duties include picking up, delivering, and tracking shipments, all while providing excellent customer service and adhering to traffic and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Pickup and Delivery: Transport packages safely, using GPS to optimize routes.
• Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, address concerns, and obtain proof of delivery.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure the vehicle remains clean, stocked, and mechanically sound.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate delivery logs and status updates.
• Health and Safety: Adhere to safety regulations, including handling hazardous or fragile items.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: No prior experience required; training provided.
• Skills:
  • Valid driver’s license (clean record).
  • Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift packages up to 30 lbs (13.5 kg).
