About the Role

This position requires at least two days per week in the Chicago office, with flexibility to work remotely the rest of the time.


Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Content Creation: Research, write, and edit articles and digital content to amplify the Chicago Fed’s work and mission.
  • Strategic Communication: Develop content for the bank’s website and external relations efforts, such as media and government outreach.
  • Collaboration: Work with researchers, strategists, and creatives to produce engaging, impactful stories.
  • Editorial Processes: Manage writing projects, build editorial calendars, and develop newsletters.
  • Cross-Platform Integration: Collaborate on multimedia campaigns that combine written content with video, social media, and email outreach.

Your Background

  • Experience: A bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, public relations, or a related field, along with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
