As Assistant / Front Office Manager, you’ll support the delivery of that experience by assisting in managing all aspects of the front office — including guest registration, business center, concierge services, telephone, and reservations. You’ll create a warm atmosphere that helps our guests feel at home, while supporting your team in delivering exceptional service.

Your Day to Day at Holiday Inn Express

People

Support daily staffing needs, assign duties, and assist in setting team performance and development goals.

Provide coaching and regular feedback to enhance team effectiveness.

Ensure all team members are trained in service standards, safety regulations, and hotel systems.

Promote a positive team culture aligned with IHG’s True Hospitality values.

Guest Experience

Ensure the front office delivers great service and professional attention.

Personally engage with guests during peak times to ensure satisfaction.

Manage and resolve guest complaints effectively.

Conduct routine inspections of the front office and lobby/public areas to maintain quality and cleanliness.

Financial

Assist in budget preparation and help monitor expenses, labor costs, and occupancy targets.

Support inventory and rate management strategies.

Oversee night audit tasks in absence of Front Office Manager.

Help implement upselling initiatives at the front desk to improve ADR and RevPAR.

What We Need From You

Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification in Hotel Management or related field.

Minimum 3 years of front office/guest services experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory/managerial role.

Fluency in English is essential; additional language skills are a plus.

Experience in using property management systems (PMS) preferred.
