Corteva Finance Business Partner for Soybean Licencing
We are looking for a motivated individual for a Soybean Commercial Finance role within Corteva Brazil/Paraguay organization. This position will be responsible to design new business/financial model to ensure long-term value creation. This position requires strong analysis and judgment, organizational and communication skills, business acumen and ability to work across functions. We are also seeking for professionals who have curiosity to learn and have a passion to make things better every day.
The mains responsibilities of this role are:

Execute the monthly outlook process by partnering with Marketing and Sales team to ensure financial forecast align to the business drivers.

Consolidate financial information and key insights to inform strategic priorities.

Active monitoring and ensure timely and accurate performance and identify any discrepancies before closing

Lead conversations with the main stakeholders to strategically improve the business profitability.

Collaborate with commercial partners regarding aspects of financial performance in the development and delivery of the annual budget and 5-year business plan through reports, metrics, and dashboards.

Cross functional alignment for improvements by streamlining current processes.

Responsibility for high-level analysis for revenue through direct Contribution to EBITDA

Provide support on ad-hoc business initiatives through supplying information, conducting financial analysis (variance analysis and trend identification), and recommending actions to management.

Liaison for the business to the other Finance sub-functions
Financial Analyst Skills and Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
-
+5 Years’ experience in Finance including position in FP&A
-
SAP knowledge is a must.

Proficiency with Excel and Power BI (or other analytical tools, i.e. Tableau).

Ability to work with multi-function teams leading projects to improve processes and results.

Must have solid interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Must demonstrate organizational / planning capabilities and have strong business focus.

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with strong attention to details.

Fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish

Must demonstrate a pro-active attitude and willingness to learn and work in teams. Works well under pressure and with ambiguity.

Prior experience within royalties’ business is a plus.
