Customer Onboarding Strategist, KickStart, Google Customer Solutions (English, Japanese)

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Experience in an account management, client service or management consulting role.

Ability to communicate in English and Japanese fluently to interact in this customer-facing role.
Preferred qualifications:

Experience in a customer-facing role working with digital advertising products (e.g., Google Ads, Google Shopping, Google Analytics, etc.).

Experience working in a digital agency, with a focus on Google products.

Experience in the TV or media industry.

Ability to reach out to customers/cold calling and helping customers to add value to their business.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

In this role, you will be working with our new customers as they go through a onboarding period, you set the goal and the strategy for how their products and services reach our users. You will own a set of new customers for six months to make them and grow the next generation of customers for Google.
You work with an engaged, fun team and bring creativity to grow and transform. The Customer Onboarding team operates like a Start-Up to enable thought-leadership with a self-management team practice. Also you will execute your product knowledge, engaged selling (we promote/pitch to our clients), account management and work cross-functionally with our acquisitions, product, program, and same-store teams.

Manage a new customer portfolio for six months to set them up with their digital advertising journey.

Deliver assigned customer goals while delivering onboarding experience.

Work cross-functionally with sales, product, and program teams to deliver customer handovers.

Implement ways to improve customer relationships. Tailor and share performance suggestions and promote other Google products.

Advice to help advertisers get the investment by working in a consultative role, communicating with customers via phone, chat, and email.
