Enterprise Account Responsible (Full-Time, Remote)

"At Baymard, we conduct original, large-scale research studies covering every aspect of the online user experience — from individual form field labels to the complete mobile journey.
We focus on delivering what we call 'actionable research' — combining the depth and rigor of academic studies with a practical, user-friendly presentation that empowers real-world application."**
About the Role
Baymard Institute conducts in-depth UX research at scale, delivering insights through a tailored B2B SaaS platform trusted by over 17,500 brands, agencies, researchers, and UX professionals across more than 80 countries—including 71% of Fortune 500 e-commerce companies. We’re a fully remote team of ~50 members based across the U.S. and Europe, all dedicated to advancing the field of e-commerce user experience.
We’re currently seeking an Enterprise Account Responsible to strengthen and expand relationships within our existing client base. In this role, you’ll work to convert self-serve subscription customers into full enterprise accounts, while deepening engagement with our current enterprise clients. Your responsibilities will include identifying upsell opportunities, managing renewals, and ensuring clients realize the full value of our research platform and services.
This is a relationship-focused role — not high-volume transactional sales. Your success will come from building trust, understanding client goals, and matching their evolving needs with the right Baymard solutions, such as team-wide access, custom training, or tailored research support.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing enterprise clients, focusing on value expansion and long-term satisfaction.
- Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities, in collaboration with marketing and other internal teams.
- Lead regular client check-ins (quarterly or semi-annually) to demonstrate impact, uncover evolving needs, and strengthen relationships.
- Coordinate with Baymard’s research and product teams to align client expectations with deliverables.
- Build trusted relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders across client organizations.
- Own the renewal process end-to-end, including pricing conversations and contract execution.
- Monitor account health, identify potential risks early, and implement proactive retention strategies.
- Maintain accurate CRM documentation for all client communications and account activity.
Who You Are
- Comfortable working with senior stakeholders at large organizations.
- Highly organized and proactive, capable of managing multiple complex accounts simultaneously.
- Committed to long-term client success, with a focus on value growth over short-term gains.
- Self-motivated and accountable—you're energized by taking full ownership of your goals.
- An excellent communicator and active listener, who values clear and constructive feedback.
- Able to work independently in a fully remote, distributed team.
What You’ll Need
- 5+ years of experience in B2B account management or client growth, ideally in SaaS or subscription-based models.
- Proven ability to manage complex client portfolios and build long-term, strategic relationships.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and relaying client feedback to improve offerings.
- Comfort working in a fully remote environment and contributing to a global team.
- Experience working with UX, marketing, product, or research teams is a plus.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
