The Role: Executive Assistant to the CEO
CPE seeks an Executive Assistant to the CEO who will play a crucial role in ensuring the CEO operates efficiently and effectively. This individual will provide high-level administrative support, act as a trusted partner, and serve as the CEO’s right hand in managing daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
- Manage the CEO’s calendar with precision, ensuring meetings, deadlines, and priorities are aligned with organizational goals.
- Prepare and organize materials for meetings, including agendas, reports, and follow-up documentation.
- Handle confidential and time-sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Communication
- Act as the primary point of contact between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders.
- Draft and proofread emails, presentations, and other correspondence on behalf of the CEO.
- Ensure clear and timely communication across teams to maintain organizational cohesion.
Operational Efficiency
- Coordinate complex travel arrangements, including itineraries, accommodations, and logistics.
- Anticipate the CEO’s needs and proactively address potential challenges.
- Support organizational projects, initiatives, and events as assigned by the CEO.
Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with CPE staff, partners, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication and collaboration.
- Represent the CEO in a professional and respectful manner in all interactions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in an executive assistant or similar role, ideally in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.
- Demonstrated success in managing schedules, complex projects, and high-level communications.
- Skills:
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in productivity tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project management platforms.
- High emotional intelligence (EQ) and the ability to navigate sensitive situations with tact.
