What You’ll Do

• Improve Testing & Modernize Legacy Code

  • Increase test coverage (currently using PHPUnit, open to alternatives).
  • Refactor old Laravel code to follow modern best practices and the L11 structure.
  • Integrate thorough testing into our deployment pipelines.

• Build New Features

  • Develop new features quickly while maintaining clean, maintainable code.
  • Optimize database queries and cache strategies.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure smooth feature rollouts.

• Dive Into the Full Stack (When Needed)

  • Focus primarily on the Laravel backend but jump into Vue 3 as needed for debugging or data flow validation.
  • Be comfortable switching between tasks to ensure full-stack cohesion.

• Embrace AI Tools

  • Use AI to enhance your development process or improve test writing.
  • Contribute to AI-related mini-projects (e.g., model querying, message batching, output processing).

Who You Are

• Seasoned Laravel Developer

  • 5+ years of experience with Laravel.
  • Comfortable with the latest Laravel versions and writing clean, performant code.

• Some Vue 3 Knowledge

  • At least 2 years of experience with Vue 2/3.
  • Able to navigate and troubleshoot frontend components when needed.

• Independent & Reliable
