Project Manager (Freelance)

TELL ME MORE® is a boutique marketing agency that designs soulful, high-converting websites for purpose-driven brands—especially in higher education. We’re seeking an experienced freelance Project Manager to lead our WordPress website builds from kickoff to launch. You’ll take ownership of timelines, task assignments, and quality assurance, ensuring every project runs smoothly and meets our high standards.

You’ll be stepping into the role of our current Project Manager and co-founder, who’s been leading this work for over 20 years and will support your onboarding with care and intention. You’ll also collaborate with a warm, thoughtful team of strategists, designers, and developers who value presence, precision, and creativity.

💼 What You’ll Do

• Lead WordPress-based website projects from start to finish
• Assign and oversee tasks via Asana for developers and designers
• Ensure web builds align pixel-perfect with mockups and function cleanly
• Communicate with clients to manage requests, feedback, and expectations
• Coordinate with SEO and analytics partners to align strategy and execution
• Track budgets, timelines, and deliverables to keep projects on point
• Source and vet freelance creatives or developers as needed

✅ You’ll Thrive Here If You…

• Have 5+ years of project management experience (agency or digital/web preferred)
• Are deeply familiar with WordPress marketing sites—you don’t need to code, but you should understand the platform’s capabilities
• Have an eye for detail and a strong sense of design alignment
• Can communicate with clients clearly and calmly, even when managing tricky scope or timelines
• Understand the basics of SEO, CRO, and analytics and can support those efforts strategically
• Are available 20–40 hours per week (average is ~30)
• Are based in a U.S. time zone—or can work in sync with one
