About the role:

In this role you will provide key technical assistance to the bank through managing, deploying, maintaining, and configuring the bank’s IT infrastructure.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assist the IT Infrastructure team with BAU tasks, activities, and projects

  • Monitor the health of IT servers, network, and systems

  • Identify and remediate issues before they impact the production environment

  • Manage and participate in production release/deployments andchange management processes

  • Liaise with regional teams and external vendors where necessary

  • Provide escalation support for service desk team

  • Effectively document changes to the IT environment

  • Support Infrastructure team in the implementation ofglobal and regional IT projects on time and on budget

  • Proactively and effectively document changes to the IT environment.

  • Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities on systems, report and monitor progress.

What we are looking for:

As the successful candidate, you will have at approximately 2 years’ experience working in an IT systems administration role. Banking or Financial Services experience is advantageous.

You’ll also have strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory and network device maintenance. Knowledge of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure environments, System change management processes, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning practices are desirable.

You’ll likely have tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, and ideally Microsoft and/or Cisco Certifications.
