About the Role

As the Islands Landscaping Trade Assistant you will maintain all gardens, surrounding landscape, drains and beaches throughout the resort. You’ll keep our landscape looking lush and vibrant. With naturally high standards to support our own, you’ll approach every task with devotion and pride.

Your day to day

• Maintain gardens, surrounding landscaping, drains/beaches, and guest area. You’ll keep our landscape looking lush and vibrant.

• Garden and lawn maintenance include waste and litter removal.

• Organise supplies and make sure equipment is ready for the next day.

• Complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner

• Always keep an eye out for improvements – follow any preventative maintenance calendar and keep everything working and efficient at all times.

• Be a friendly face and helping hand to our guests and co-workers.

• Keep your duty manager in the loop and tell them about any low running supplies.

• Perform tasks – mowing, whipper snipping, planting, fertilising of both plants and lawns, weeding and rubbish collection.

• Work independently and closely with other employees to complete landscaping maintenance related works as required in all areas of the resort and staff village.
