Job Description Summary

This role reports to the Senior Operations Manager (Shared Services Cell). Responsible for operations planning, daily personnel deployment/management, job fulfillments and meet Safety, Quality Delivery and Cost (SQDC) targets.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead a team of supervisors and technicians to achieve safety, quality, delivery and cost performance targets

• Plan, schedule and execute the operations and fulfill internal and external customer needs.

• Provide directions in resource allocation, production issues resolution, operator training, deployment, coordination.

• Monitor job progress and intervene when necessary, ensuring production orders are completed on a timely basis.

• Drive adoption of Lean and implement continuous improvement plans to increase operational effectiveness and improve productivity.

• Enforce and implement best practices & culture in proper housekeeping, disciplines and standard work

• Monitor labor utilization and efficiency to ensure optimized manpower, Identify technician training needs and maintain skill matrix

• Lead root cause analysis of operation issues and solve the problems

• Drive cycle/lead time improvements and implement cost control/reduction strategies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a recognized university

• Min 5 years relevant experience in related industry

• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills

• Strong communications, interpersonal and influencing skills

• Facilitation, planning and organizational skills

• Proficiency in computer skills (Web based systems and Microsoft Office)
