About This Role

Primary is looking for a friendly and organized Part-Time Receptionist to be the welcoming presence at our New York City office. This role is ideal for someone who wants a flexible schedule while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic venture capital environment. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, managing phone calls, coordinating meetings, and maintaining the reception area. What You’ll Do

  • Greet visitors, clients, and partners warmly, ensuring they have a seamless and positive experience upon arrival.
  • Manage the scheduling and availability of conference rooms.
  • Provide a top-notch office experience for both employees and guests.
  • Ensure the kitchen and common areas are clean, stocked, and organized.
  • Maintain conference rooms to our high standards, keeping common areas clean and professional.
  • Offer backup support to other administrative staff when necessary.
  • Take on ad hoc duties and special projects as needed.

About You

  • 2+ years of administrative or customer service experience.
  • Passionate about hospitality and creating a great experience for others.
  • Discreet and able to handle confidential information with care.
  • Proficient in Google and MS Office suites.
  • Strong communication skills, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Able to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • A friendly attitude and a “nothing is beneath me” mindset are essential!

Logistics

  • Days: Tuesday-Thursday
  • Hours: 8:00 am – 1:00 pm
  • Location: In-person at our NYC HQ
  • Compensation: $18-22 per hour, with flexibility for overtime as needed.
  • This is an hourly, at-will position and does not include company-sponsored benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, or retirement plans.

Compensation

$18.00 – $22.00 per hour
