About the role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Consultant Workday Finance to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Workday Financial Management Workday (Technical) Reports and Workday HCM. This role involves working in a hybrid model with a day shift. The candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our client’s financial and HR systems ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
Responsibilities

Serve as a Workday Financials expert with deep knowledge of design configuration testing and implementation focusing on either R2R P2P or C2C.

Guide clients through facilitated design sessions and configuration decisions

Willingness and ability to take a leadership position on a project.

Act as a mentor to fellow consultants and analysts including providing support for shadow assignments.

Lead the design and implementation of Workday Financial Management solutions to optimize financial processes.

Oversee the development and maintenance of Workday (Technical) Reports to ensure accurate and timely data reporting.

Provide expertise in Workday HCM to enhance human capital management processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.

Develop and document functional specifications for system enhancements and integrations.

Ensure seamless integration of Workday modules with other enterprise systems.

Conduct system testing and validation to ensure accuracy and functionality.

Provide end-user training and support to ensure effective utilization of Workday solutions.

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Stay updated with the latest Workday features and best practices to recommend improvements.

Participate in project planning and management to ensure timely delivery of solutions.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations and deliver results.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Skills and experience:

Bachelors degree required or equivalent.

Hands on functional Workday Financials experience

Financials software experience required.

Workday Financials certification highly desired

Experience gathering business requirements designing and prototyping testing and implementing practical business solutions

Demonstrated functional experience in Financials Management.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a hybrid model with a day shift.

Proven track record of successful project delivery in a similar role.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
