Baymard performs extensive, original research on every aspect of the online user experience, ranging from "form field labels" to the "entire mobile experience." We focus on what we call "actionable research"—combining the depth and rigor of academic studies with a practical, easy-to-understand format.

About This Role

Baymard Institute conducts large-scale UX research and shares our findings via a customized B2B SaaS platform (see baymard.com/research). Our platform serves over 17,500 brands, agencies, researchers, and UX designers across 80+ countries, including 71% of Fortune 500 e-commerce companies. With a fully distributed team of about 50 members based in the U.S. and Europe, we’re all dedicated to advancing e-commerce UX.

As Baymard’s Product Marketing Manager, you’ll spearhead go-to-market strategies for new research features and product launches. Your role will be to ensure our positioning and messaging connect with the right audiences. You’ll craft compelling product narratives, develop targeted promotional plans, and maintain a consistent brand voice to boost awareness, adoption, and engagement. In collaboration with the Sales, Product, and Research teams, you’ll also help create sales enablement tools, contribute to educational content, and influence product improvements based on user feedback.

While analytics and user insights will guide your decisions, this role also requires a strong focus on creative storytelling and value-driven marketing. You’ll use both qualitative and quantitative data to refine buyer personas, position Baymard’s products against competitors, and ensure our customers fully understand how our research delivers measurable performance gains.

About You

You excel at transforming complex insights into clear, engaging product stories. Whether it’s crafting key messaging, planning feature launches, or collaborating with content teams, you always focus on showcasing the real-world value for customers.

A natural collaborator, you enjoy partnering across departments—whether influencing the Product roadmap, supporting Sales with impactful materials, or relaying user needs back to the Research team. At your core, you believe user-centricity is essential to successful marketing, and you’re skilled at balancing both data-driven and creative perspectives.

You also have a mindset geared toward experimentation, viewing every campaign or launch as an opportunity to learn and improve. You’re comfortable adapting strategies based on qualitative feedback, A/B test results, or industry changes to ensure Baymard stays the leading authority in UX research.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in product marketing (preferably in freemium B2B SaaS)
  • Outstanding communication skills, with a proven ability to create compelling customer-facing messaging
  • Ability to combine qualitative and quantitative insights into clear, actionable marketing strategies
  • Proven experience collaborating with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to align efforts and drive adoption
  • Familiarity with marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot) for tracking performance and user behavior

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience marketing to e-commerce or UX research audiences
  • Background in product-led growth, lifecycle marketing, or in-app guidance
  • Experience refining buyer personas or defining ICP for niche B2B segments

Details

  • Location: Remote, full-time (available from either America or Europe). For U.S. West Coast applicants: Must be available from 6 AM Pacific Time to accommodate a 2-hour daily overlap with the team in Europe.

  • Start Date: As soon as possible
  • Language: Fluent in written and spoken English
