About the Role:
Our base teams play a crucial role in delivering exceptional holidays, contributing to why our customers return year after year. As a Customer Experience Agent, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers when they arrive and depart, ensuring their journey starts and ends on a high note. This fast-paced, customer-focused role requires excellent sales and organizational skills to help our customers get the most out of their holiday.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Go above and beyond to ensure customers have the best possible holiday experience.
  • Create a warm, friendly, and welcoming environment for customers at the start and end of their stay.
  • Oversee a seamless and efficient check-in process, ensuring customers are fully informed and excited about their trip.
  • Offer local recommendations and tips on activities, restaurants, and sites to help guests make the most of their time on board.
  • Upsell additional services like collision damage waiver insurance and cleaning packages.
  • Welcome customers back at the end of their stay and manage the checkout process.
  • Assist in creating daily and weekly departure schedules using the Neptune reservation system.
  • Update the Neptune database daily with customer and cruise information.
  • Encourage customers to complete our online Customer Service Questionnaires (CSQ) and leave reviews on third-party sites.
  • Keep the reception area neat, ensuring it makes a great first impression for all customers.
  • Support colleagues across different departments to maintain a seamless customer experience at all times.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Proven experience in delivering excellent customer service.
  • A strong track record in upselling ancillary products to customers.
  • Knowledge of the local area and tourist attractions is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Highly organized and able to respond to competing demands efficiently.
  • Clear and timely communication with colleagues, head office, and customers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Motivated to achieve both base and company objectives.
  • Fluent in both English and Dutch (essential).
  • Additional fluency in French or German is a bonus.
  • Fully eligible to work in the Netherlands.
