About the Role:

As a Tiller Customer Support Representative, you’ll be the front-line support, assisting customers with everything from troubleshooting bank data issues to solving spreadsheet problems (like that pesky N/A error in cell B12). You’ll educate customers about our product, answer questions on tasks like sorting large data sets, and share tips on how they can customize their spreadsheets to best fit their financial needs.

For many customers, you'll be the primary point of contact at Tiller. You'll play a key role in upholding our reputation for a friendly, responsive support experience that empowers customers to take control of their finances.

About You:

  • You’re a born problem solver who enjoys helping others.
  • You’re available for a minimum 6-hour shift five days a week, including a weekend day.
  • You have hands-on experience with Google Sheets & Microsoft Excel.
  • You love diving into products and reading help center articles (and likely have suggestions to improve them!).
  • You bring at least 1+ years of customer support experience, or you have a background that makes you the perfect fit.
  • Your LinkedIn profile is up to date.

Bonus Points If:

  • You have a background in or passion for personal or small business finances.

In this Role, You Will:

  • Gain a deep understanding of Tiller’s products and services.
  • Spend most of your workday in Intercom (our support tool) or Discourse (our community forum), assisting customers and answering inquiries.
  • Help shape and evolve Tiller’s customer success program.

Position Details:

  • Expected hours: 30-40 hours/week.
  • Health insurance and PTO benefits after 30 days of full-time employment.
  • Starting pay: $20/hour.
  • Hourly position with direct deposit paychecks twice a month.
