As an Oracle Senior Manager , Account Cloud Engineer, you will lead a team of cloud engineers to empower organizations on their digital transformation journey, making a direct impact on their success through the power of Oracle’s comprehensive cloud portfolio.

What you will do

Lead a team of architects responsible for the design and delivery of data platform solutions on Oracle Cloud (OCI)

Define and evolve data architecture strategy aligned to customer needs and Oracle’s product roadmap
-
Act as a senior advisor to enterprise customers on data platform modernisation and cloud adoption
-
Engage with senior stakeholders (internal and external) to drive architecture governance and best practices
-
Lead technical discovery sessions, solution architecture, and proposal reviews
-
Ensure solution integrity, scalability, security, and compliance across customer engagements
-
Support pre-sales activity with insight into data platform capabilities and competitive positioning

Mentor and grow talent within the architecture team
Desired Experience
-
Proven leadership experience in data platform or cloud architecture roles
-
Strong understanding of Oracle data services (Autonomous DB, Exadata, GoldenGate, etc.) and OCI fundamentals
-
Experience designing and delivering large-scale, mission-critical database or analytics platforms
-
Strong grasp of data integration, governance, security, and performance principles
-
Hands-on experience with cloud-native and hybrid architectures (OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP)
-
Understanding of industry-specific data concerns, particularly in regulated sectors

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
-
Experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and DevOps principles is a plus
