Role Purpose:
As a Senior QA Testing Manager, you will play a key role in our quality assurance team, ensuring the delivery of top-notch software products. With your extensive experience in software testing, you will identify defects and enhance testing processes to improve the reliability and performance of our applications. You'll collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive test plans, design detailed test cases, and conduct thorough testing. Additionally, you will mentor junior testers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Test Planning: Develop detailed test plans and strategies covering all aspects of software testing, including functional, regression, performance, and usability testing.
• Test Case Design: Create structured, well-defined test cases based on project requirements and technical specifications.
• Test Execution: Perform both manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure product quality.
• Defect Management: Log, track, and manage defects using defect tracking tools, collaborating closely with the development team for timely resolution.
• Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts to increase efficiency and test coverage.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify process improvement opportunities within the testing lifecycle and implement best practices to enhance effectiveness.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior testers, providing training and support to help them grow their testing skills.
• Reporting: Prepare and present detailed test reports, including metrics on test coverage, defect rates, and quality trends, to stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in software testing, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Extensive experience with both manual and automated testing tools and methodologies.
• Strong understanding of the software development and testing life cycle.
• Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Mocha, TestNG, or similar.
• Experience with performance testing tools like K6, JMeter, or LoadRunner.
• Certifications (preferred): Relevant certifications like ISTQB, CSTE, or similar are a plus.
