The Role

We’re seeking a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer for one of our clients. You’re the perfect fit if you’re growth-driven, passionate about your work, and enjoy building innovative products and features that drive growth.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails
• Experience with libraries such as Resque and RSpec
• Ability to write clean, efficient Ruby code
• Proficiency with version control tools like Git, GitHub, SVN, and Mercurial
• Experience with Angular or React.js
• Familiarity with MVC, Mocking, RESTful, and ORM
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies like HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3
• Knowledge of server-side templating languages, including Slim and Liquid
• Familiarity with testing tools

Nice-to-Have:

• Time zone: CET (+/- 3 hours)
• Knowledge of TypeScript

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new web applications
• Maintain and troubleshoot existing web applications
• Write and maintain reliable Ruby code
• Integrate data storage solutions
• Create backend components
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs
• Integrate user-facing elements developed by the front-end team
• Connect applications to additional web servers
• Maintain APIs
