Senior Software Engineer, Pixel Application and User Experience

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.

3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
Preferred qualifications:

Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.

3 years of experience in Mobile system or Quality Evaluation.

1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.

With your technical expertise you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.

The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.

Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.

Lead and work on software engineering projects that are innovative, design and develop solutions that solve or address business objectives.

Collaborate and influence stakeholders, design and implement infrastructures and toolings, improve testability, and product deployment with delightful user experience.

Create or adopt or improve existing test tools, Evaluation systems error codes to increase test effectiveness and team work efficiency.
