Senior System Engineer
With a strong focus on customer service, we aim to provide technology that supports the productivity of KN staff at all levels.
Your Role
Our team seeks to provide high-quality technical guidance and support for global infrastructure services, including email and email archiving.
Your Responsibilities

Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for operational issues.

Document processes, procedures, changes, and task progress.

Participate in on-call duties to ensure seamless business operations.

Ensure full compliance with our Corporate Policies for the e-mail products.

Align with stakeholders on requirements and communicate changes accordingly.

Administer Exchange Online, Secure Email Platforms, and Veritas Enterprise Vault on-premises.

Mentor Support’ team members, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills

Collaborate with other departments to ensure integrated and cohesive solutions across the organization.

Investigate and optimize operations through automation (e.g., PowerShell routines) and governance (creating KPIs).

Optimize architecture and improve services by conducting deep research and staying updated with the latest industry trends.

Conceptualize and implement modern workplace environments based on Microsoft 365 services, ensuring their smooth operation.
Your Skills and Experiences

Strong customer and service orientation.
-
Proficiency in using Jira and Wiki documentation.
-
Entra ID knowledge is welcome but not mandatory.

Advanced knowledge of PowerShell for automation.

Experience with Veritas Enterprise Vault for email archiving.

Strong interest in new trends and innovations in cloud technology.

Familiarity with AI technologies and developing AI agents as a plus

Pleasant team player with good communication skills in English, both verbally and written.

Interest in modern working methods in a team, with experience working in an Agile environment.

Strong problem-solving mindset, with the ability to tackle complex issues, simplify processes, and identify root causes.

Successfully completed university degree in (business) informatics or completed training as an IT specialist with several years of professional experience.

Profound knowledge of and practical project experience with Microsoft 365 products, especially Exchange Online and E-mail related services.
