Skilled Laborer

Job Description

Join a leading design and installation company as a versatile and detail-oriented tradesperson, supporting residential renovation projects. Play a key role in helping homeowners bring their renovation dreams to life.

Responsibilities

  • Perform back framing, drywall installation, and minor repairs/deficiency work.

  • Read and interpret construction plans provided by the design team.

  • Prepare spaces for cabinet installation in single-family homes.

  • Execute tasks such as mudding, taping, sanding, painting, and final cabinet hardware adjustments.

  • Ensure all work is completed with precision, quality, and efficiency.

Essential Skills

  • 7+ years of experience installing cabinets in residential homes.

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

  • Experience in hardware installation on cabinets – hinges, screwing boxes, slides, and other hardware.

  • Experience in a customer-facing role.

  • Possess own hand tools and belt.

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to present a clear driver’s abstract.

  • Excellent communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in back framing and drywall.

  • Flooring experience is a plus.

  • Experience in cabinet installation is advantageous.

Work Environment

Work on single-family homes for home renovation projects, typically 8 hours a day with no overtime. Be available for 5 weekends a year for home shows, specifically Sundays for take-down. Work both independently and as part of a team, with typical hours from 7:30 AM to 4 PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $72800.00 – $83200.00/yr.
