About Mux
Mux is video for developers. Our mission is to make video accessible to all by solving the tough challenges developers face when working with video technology—whether it's encoding and streaming (Mux Video), monitoring video performance (Mux Data), or more. Video plays a major role in people’s lives, and we’re committed to improving it.
We prioritize building a healthy, inclusive team that embraces diverse backgrounds and experiences. We’re looking for individuals who care about our mission, are excited to grow, align with our core values (such as Be Human and Turn Customers Into Fans), and want to help their colleagues succeed.
You’ll be joining a close-knit team with members from companies like Google, YouTube, Twitch, Zencoder, Fastly, and more. Our founders previously started (and sold) Zencoder, an early leader in cloud video technology, and also created Video.js, the most widely used HTML5 video player. We also host Demuxed, the premier conference for video engineers.
Backed by top investors like Accel and Y Combinator, we work with amazing companies including hundreds of startups, as well as big names like Reddit, Vimeo, Robinhood, CBSi, Discovery, PBS, and TED. Our customers love us and our team.
We're growing fast and building something big together. We'd love to hear from you!
