Job Overview:
It’s an exciting time to be with Aqua Quip. We are currently experiencing industry-leading growth and expansion. Aqua Quip is looking for additional team members to take us to the next level. The objective of the Store Manager is to oversee the performance of the store to ensure it is meeting or exceeding customer service standards, sales plans, profitability, operating procedures, and all merchandising objectives. Is directly responsible for growing and managing sales plans, profit margins, payroll, and all controllable expenses. Responsible for the effective execution of all company-developed programs. Hires proficient applicants with the right competencies and experience, trains and develops them in all required training programs, and establishes the expectation of providing excellent customer service and a great place to work through personal example and expectation.
Key Responsibilities:

Meet or exceed labor rate

Meet or exceed your gross margin budget for the fiscal

Meet or exceed Average Ticket and Unit per Transaction goals.

Drive customer count increase over last

Manage all controllable costs with a view to maintaining profitability.

Facilitate and supervise daily operations at a store to make sure that team members work together effectively to make sales, contribute to proper store procedures, and upkeep.

Sell all products by understanding the characteristics, features, and benefits of the products that we sell.

Understand all operating procedures, train team and execute as written.

Provide customer service and interact with customers who have an issue or need support with a purchase, return, delivery or installation.

Develop new customers and maintain rapport with previous customers resulting in referrals and rave reviews
-
Handle customer care scenarios calmly and logically with the customer and company in mind for win-win outcomes

Work on site to oversee employee activities and handle the administrative and managerial duties of running a store.

Make sure that your location is stocked with the correct amount of merchandise and adjust the store layout to display in-demand, sale event, and seasonal items.

Develop strategies to meet sales targets and plan promotions to attract business.

Evaluate employees and mentor them to improve their retail skills, addressing issues with staff and planning professional development opportunities and company policies for employee behavior.

Work to exceed all sales and profit goals by organizing, training and motivating sales teams.

Treat your location as if it was your own business.

Manage the locations schedule requests, swaps and team schedule issues and changes required to cover all shifts
Qualifications:

Oversee to ensure that all team members are proficient with the right competencies to sell all products including pools, hot tubs, swim spas, grills and saunas.

Hire, coach and train new team members on products, sales skills, procedures and policies to ensure they are proficient with the right competencies to sell.

Continually coach and train seasoned team members to help them achieve more and advance their careers.

Communicate with Assistant Manager to maintain productivity at all times.

Communicate with, and oversee sales team to ensure proper displays and signage are in top notch condition, follow ups are done in a timely manner, procedures are executed correctly, and customer issues are handled.

Ensure all current company marketing materials and displays are always available to assist with sales.
-
Supervise and assist employees with customer service.
-
Maintain proper inventory levels, ensure stock is maintained and maximum efficiency in exceeding sales goals.

Merchandising, signage and price tags.

Responsible for store and (if applicable) personal sales depending on location.
-
Manage social media accounts for continued growth and success if needed.

Seek ways to better promote the store, the product lines and services within the store.

Ensure all equipment and software is operational in order to operate efficiently.

Ensure all hired and contracted services are on task.

Ensure operating supplies are always in stock.
-
Maintain store in top operating condition and supplies are always in stock.

Ensure the store remains clean and presentable at all times.

Ensure the stock areas are always organized and easy to view and retrieve merchandise.

Uphold and enforce all company policies including the mission statement and company values.

Working Conditions:

Must be physically able to lift and carry at least 10 lbs. when needed
Pay: $40,000 – $45,000 / salary, plus commission
