Key Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, and evaluate team members.

Logistics and Distribution

  • Oversee product shipping, labeling, and order fulfillment.
  • Coordinate timely delivery of goods.
  • Optimize distribution strategies for efficiency.

Warehouse Organization

  • Manage space utilization and organize storage areas.
  • Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and storage standards.

Safety and Compliance

  • Enforce safety protocols to reduce workplace risks.
  • Conduct inspections and ensure adherence to OSHA standards.

Process Improvement

  • Analyze workflows and implement Lean or Six Sigma practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments for seamless operations.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • College diploma or equivalent (1–2 years of study).
  • 7 months to 1 year of relevant experience.

Skills and Expertise

  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
